Meet Your Podiatrist – Daphne Tan

With over 8 years of clinical experience, Daphne provides comprehensive foot and lower limb care to her patients.

Daphne received her training in podiatry from La Trobe University, Australia. She is also a member of the Podiatry Association Singapore.

Prior to joining My FootDr Singapore, Daphne worked at the National University Hospital (NUH) where she practised a broad spectrum of podiatry including general, paediatric, biomechanics, diabetic foot, vascular, as well as rheumatology.

Her specialty is woundcare, particularly in patients with vascular issues and has experience with care management like negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT), compression therapy for venous insufficiency and maggot debridement therapy (MDT). She also has a special interest in rheumatology podiatry, having been involved in a multidisciplinary clinic managing patients with inflammatory arthritis.

Daphne is keen on mentoring students and educating the public on everything about podiatry to increase awareness and bring about improvements in footcare and health literacy.

Outside of work, Daphne is a mother of a toddler and is passionate about sensorial learning for young children. She strongly believes in learning through play and enjoys spending time with her family in the outdoors on the weekends.
